Hi! I am a recent graduate from the University of California, Riverside. I graduated with
a degree in Media and Cultural Studies. Sometimes I definitely do wish I got a degree in
some creative design/animation focus but I've really learned that it is never too late to learn the things you want to!

I am
a multi-disciplinary self taught designer, art director and video editor interested and eager to work for companies passionate about effecting accessibility, inclusivity and representation in modern design. "Accessibility and Inclusivity" is an imperative factor in design and marketing because it ensures that everyone-despite their impairment or disadvantages-are given the space and acknowledgement in marketing and advertising.

Representation in DEI is extremely important as part of my motives and impacts as
an artist. As a self-taught creative that is not only POC but a woman as well, I find
it necessary to delve into unknown territories and to ensure future POC creatives acquire
the opportunities, resources and space that they/we currently don't have and aren't exposed to. Calling myself an artist in its own still feels weird and holds a lot of privilege.

I  love being an auntie to my best friend's cat and my sister's dog, dying my hair a new color every month, finding new parks, making guac, and cleaning at the most inconvenient times.

I currently run a flea market booth (with two other friends) that provides ethical and affordable items specifically to promote size inclusivity and accessibility. We set up biweekly at the 562
flea market that specifically advocates for support to POC vendors and consumers (motto: "POC 4 POC"). Alongside our sales, we donate some of our profits to organizations that contribute to stopping AAPI violence and hate. We decided to open a booth- a little after covid restrictions started to lift-as a result to earlier in the year, when we sold our own clothes online to raise over $2000 that was donated towards support for black organizations as well as organizations that worked to stop black hate and violence.

Since then, we started running our own night flea markets in LA as a safe space for QTBIPOC vendors and guests. It has been amazing and super rewarding! Community is absolutely everything and cannot wait to come back bigger than ever in 2023.
